Strategy Reflection

The literacy strategy was very effective in giving students the opportunity to use different methods for the students to retain the content. The guided note-taking strategy helped them identify which part of the content was the most important. The Frayer Model/Illustration helped them be able to once again practice the keywords and make an illustration of the keyword. I think not only was this strategy effective for the students, but they had fun learning due to the literacy strategy. I think the only aspect of this strategy that I would change would be the text. I would find a more challenging text for the students to put to practice what they learned.
